About the speaker: Professor Marta Botikova


Professor Marta Botíková is a Slovak ethnologist and long-time lecturer at Comenius University in Bratislava. Her research focuses on ethnic minorities, historical and contemporary migration, gender in culture, and the anthropology of the life cycle. She has also contributed significantly to medical anthropology and family studies.
